Pumpkin VR Rides the VR Industry Wave, Achieves Explosive Revenue Growth
Under CEO Liao Yi-Xiang's strategic leadership, Pumpkin VR has successfully transformed from interior architectural 3D design to VR game development, achieving continuous annual revenue growth exceeding 100%. The company has successfully expanded its market reach to Japan and Korea, becoming a prominent emerging player in the international VR industry.
## Key Transformation Strategies and Achievements
CEO Liao Yi-Xiang returned to Taiwan in 2015 to join Pumpkin Studio, keenly recognizing the trend of virtual industry integration across various sectors. In 2016, the decision was made to expand the team and reorganize the studio into Pumpkin VR, focusing on two core areas: VR game development and industrial simulation. Our lean team of just 11 employees has successfully produced three VR games: "Zombie Forbidden Zone," "Taboo," and "Operation Code: Iron Gate."
Our current business model operates on a licensing system, similar to cinema operations, generating revenue through licensing fees and ticket revenue sharing. In terms of distribution, besides three partners across northern, central, and southern Taiwan, we have 3 partners in Japan and an impressive 20 in Korea, demonstrating strong international expansion capabilities.
## Pioneering Industrial VR Simulation Blue Ocean
Beyond entertainment applications, Pumpkin VR is actively entering the promising industrial VR simulation market. We apply VR technology to industrial facility construction, helping enterprises conduct pre-construction simulation and logistics planning through 3D facility modeling, effectively preventing construction errors
